As the platform grew in scope and user base, Design N Buy needed a structured, reliable QA process to validate their web application, admin panel, and cross-device experience. Our approach

Our engagement

Our QA engineers embedded with the Design N Buy team to build a complete quality assurance function from the ground up. The engagement began with a thorough requirements review to understand all functional modules across the web application and admin panel. From there, we designed a comprehensive test case repository covering positive and negative scenarios, boundary value analysis, and exploratory flows, all maintained in Excel and shared on the client's cloud storage for full transparency.

Bug management was integrated directly into the client's existing Zoho workflow. Every defect was logged with full severity classification, Show Stopper, Critical, Major, and Minor, enabling the development team to prioritize fixes efficiently. By the end of the engagement, all identified bugs had been resolved and verified, with zero open defects remaining at sign-off.

A key focus was delivering comprehensive multi-platform coverage. Testing was conducted across Windows Chrome, Mac Safari, iPhone X Safari, and Android Chrome, ensuring that the platform delivered a consistent, high-quality experience regardless of the device or browser. The structured approach to collaboration, reporting, and sign-off gave Design N Buy a stable, production-ready product and a repeatable QA process they could build on going forward.

Functional and UI testing

Our team designed and executed a thorough functional test suite covering all modules of the Design N Buy web application and admin panel. Test cases were written to validate each feature against its functional requirements, with separate suites maintained for Chrome (Web & Mobile) and Safari (Mac & iOS). UI testing ensured that all interface elements, buttons, forms, menus, and navigation, rendered correctly and behaved consistently across screen sizes. All test results were recorded and maintained in the client's Excel-based test management repository.
